Christmas is three weeks away and we invite you to celebrate the season at Trinity Altoona! As Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday this year, we will be adjusting our worship schedule. The Sunderman Memorial Concert Series returns to Trinity Altoona next Sunday December 3 at 3PM. This special concert event will feature a quintet from the Altoona Brass Collective and advanced piano students (Josh Bueno, Ava Steinbugl, Melayna Steward, Josh Warmath) of our own Cindy Finnegan, performing a variety of Christmas and seasonal selections. Trinity Altoona’s annual Church Picnic returns two weeks from today and you’re invited! We’ll be getting together Sunday August 27 at 11AM at the Legion Park Kitchen Pavilion in Hollidaysburg. Meats and beverages will be provided. We invite everyone to bring a hot or cold covered dish to share. Donations of bottled water and canned soda (regular and diet) are still welcomed and may be dropped off anytime in Trinity Hall. Trinity Altoona’s annual Vacation Bible School is back starting Sunday July 30. This year’s theme is “Hero Hotline” featuring Mike the Meerkat (pictured). Young heroes learn to strive for the things that bring peace and the things that build each other up as we’re taught in Romans 14:19.
