Here’s what’s happening at Trinity: Our normal worship schedule resumed this past weekend. Please join us Saturdays at 6:30PM, Sundays at 8:15AM or Sundays at 10:45AM. The Social Ministry Committee continues to collect supplies for St. Andrew’s Preschool. Their wish list includes 3 oz. cups, construction paper, Elmer’s bottled glue, hand sanitizer, napkins, paper towels, plastic spoons and rubber mulch for the playground area. Donations can be dropped off in Trinity Hall. Trinity’s Adult Bible Study returns later this month, focusing on “The Beatitudes.” Find out more here… Attention music…

Trinity Picnic Coming on Sunday

The weather forecast is calling for partly cloudy and humid conditions this Sunday August 26. Let’s be optimistic and say partly sunny and warm 🙂 Should be a wonderful day for Trinity Altoona’s annual Church Picnic at Legion Park in Hollidaysburg! Plan to join us for worship service at 11AM (this will be the only worship service this weekend), followed by our picnic and games for all ages. Trinity Altoona’s annual neighborhood festival, Spring Fling 2018, is less than three weeks away. Trinity’s Evangelism Committee is once again asking for your help to make this year’s event a success, rain or shine. Here are a few ways you can make a difference: Provide salads (macaroni, pasta, potato etc) or baked goods (brownies, cookies, fudge etc.) that we can sell at the event Donate cases of bottled water or canned soda Volunteer to help set up and/or tear down tents, tables, chairs etc. Volunteer to help serve food during…

Order envelopes are located in the back of the church. Fall Banquet On This Sunday’s Menu

Trinity Altoona’s annual Fall Banquet is coming up this Sunday November 12, featuring a menu of roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, haluska, corn, rolls and assorted desserts. Ticket prices are $7 for adults and $5 for children ages 5-12. Children under age 5 eat for free. Trinity Announces Spring Concert

The Sunderman Memorial Concert Series continues with The Allegheny String Quartet, performing a free concert of chamber music at Trinity Lutheran, Sunday April 30 at 3PM. The quartet features Kim Cook (cello), Jeremy Klapper (violin), Genaro Medina (violin) and Lela Tsinadze (viola). Cook is professor of cello at Penn State University, and is recognized as an international concert artist.
